Another approach to photographing the details of the world is to focus on textures and patterns. Whether man made or created and shaped by nature, textures and patterns exists virtually everywhere and they can make very interesting subjects. Think about all the possibiliites and look around with a close eye, and then try tocreate appealing artistic images of what you see. Since the subject matter with these types of images is more abstract in nature, you'll you need to rely even more on light, color, form, lines, and other simple graphic elements in order to make stronger, more dynamic images. As with any type of photography, the key is to get out there and experiment, because you never know what you'll come up with! ![]() |
