By far, the single biggest benefits of digital photography is that you can see your results immediately after taking the picture. Combined with the fact that it doesn't cost any more money to shoot one frame or one thousand frames, digital photography lends itself extremly well to the process of creative experimentation. If you don't take advantage of this fact, then you are denying your photography a very important element. The next time you're out shooting, let your creativity run free. Try out some new and different ideas and experiment with some of the methods that we've covered in these lessons. Put on a different lens. Vary your exposures. Change up your composition. Move to a different vantage point. Zoom in on your subject. Zoom out. Even if you think that a certian idea won't work, try it anyway. You have nothing to lose, and you can always delete the shot if it doesn't turn out. ![]() |
