PAYMENT INFORMATION

Final payment is due 60 days prior to the start date of your trip. Credit cards are accepted for the deposit only.  Final payment must be made by check or money order payable in U.S. Funds.

REFUND POLICY

If you must cancel your reservation for any reason, you will be charged a cancellation fee:

90+ days before departure  $100
60 – 90 days before departure  $250
30 – 59 days before departure  50% of land cost.
< 30 days before departure 100% of land cost.

Dates are based on the date we receive written notice of your cancellation.

TRIP CANCELLATION

Walking The World reserves the right to modify trip itineraries if conditions warrant or to cancel a trip if enrollment is low or other conditions are unfavorable.  For this reason you MUST check with us prior to making your air reservations. If a trip is canceled, you will receive a full deposit refund, but we cannot reimburse you for flight changes or cancellations.  Every effort is made to guarantee trip departures.  On most trips, a minimum of 10 participants guarantees departure. We strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance. Travel Plus, the travel insurance plan we use, accepts pre-existing medical conditions if you purchase the insurance within 10 days from the date your initial trip deposit is made.  Their brochure will be included with your confirmation packet once we receive your deposit.

NO SMOKING

Most of our participants are non-smokers, and in the interest of everyone’s health, smoking is not allowed at any time during the group activities, in the accommodations we use, or on the trail.
