CROATIA - Jewel of the Adriatic
CROATIAWith a coastline of more than a 1000 miles and more than a thousand offshore islands, Croatia has some of the most beautiful beaches and scenery in the Mediterranean. The stunning Lakes, rivers and waterfalls of Plitvice National Park are only a few of the highlights you'll remember for years to come.  Plitvice protects 16 lakes fed by the rivers Bijela Rijeka and Crna Rijeka (White River and Black River).  Want to be spellbound by some of the most beautiful scenery in all of Europe?  Then join us in Croatia!  Although the mountainous areas of Paklenica are less well-known than Plitvice, a fantastic network of challenging trails and mountain huts await. This inspiring mountainous environment is home to dense and mysterious woodlands that serve as frame to the sea and the white rock of the deep gorges. Croatia is truly a walker's paradise and still retains much of its old world character and charm.  Quiet farm lands, beautiful national parks and pristine beaches make Croatia one of the world's most enchanting destinations.  We've been waiting to add this magical destination until we had the right mix. But now, you shouldn't wait to experience the wonders of this as yet undiscovered corner of the planet.  It is hard to imagine there's a place on this earth with such diversity of scenery. But it's here and it's yours for the discovery!  Visits to the beautiful city of Split and the Domitian Palace and an overnight in the walled town of Trogir bring our walking adventure to a magnificent close.
